This is our premier event of the summer, and we are very proud to be bringing these amazing artists to the Seattle Tango Community.

Please help Seattle and the Tango Barn extend Julian Peralta & Winnie Cheung Sextet and their amazing group of musicians a warm welcome Saturday, August 2nd, 2025!

• Music and dancing 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm by Winnie Cheung, and Julian Peralta accompanied by 4 Bandoneons, Violin, Cello, Double Bass and a very special guest from Argentina playing the piano! Greg Constantino will be DJ.
• Pre-Milonga lesson taught by so very talented Katia Diamond from San Diego and Andrea Moncayo from Tijuana at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm with a Performance at intermission by Katia Diamond and Andrea Moncayo.
• Class is $20. Milonga is $40. Take both for $50. The teachers are wonderful!
• Admission is limited to 120 guests so please RSVP early to reserve your space. When emailing, please specify your party size. We are offering tables by reservation: TheTangoBarn@gmail.com. There will be some chairs behind tables for general seating.
• In search of 4-6 fun people for volunteer. Reach out to The Tango Barn - Includes free entrada!

• Hostess to seat people at reserved tables
• Food and drink helper 1 & 2 at Milonga
• We could use 1 person to help with filling the water and sweep up after the Milonga. Takes about 20 minutes!

Katia Diamond is an Argentine tango instructor, performer, and adjudicator based in San Diego. A finalist at ATUSA 2024, Katia also performs and leads workshops across the U.S., Mexico, South America, and Asia. You can see Katia Diamond's full bio here. Andrea Moncayo is an Argentine tango dancer, instructor, and dedicated milonga organizer based in Tijuana, Mexico. Andrea was part of the first all-female couple to reach the finals at the U.S. National Tango Championship. Andrea Moncayo full bio here.

Thanks so much for your continued support. We realize $50 might be a little high for some people's budgets but we need to collect the extra funds to fly both sets of musicians to Seattle. If you are financially limited and would like to attend please reach out to us, we may be able to help from the Self-Help Community Fund we started in May, or see below for volunteer opportunities.
